Surroundings

Kaokoland Riverside Campsite is based in Kunene region alongside the Kunene river.

Situated 22 km west from Ruacana waterfall and 121 km east from Epupa waterfall on the spectacular D3700 road, it is a perfect place to rest and enjoy shaded safe site.

Kaokoland Riverside camp is owned by local Himba people and it is also intended to help the Himba community. We support kids of people with less fortune, that cant afford to contribute to their kids education. The campsite has done a lot for the community, mostly helping and supporting school children, providing school stuff such as books and pencils, so we see to it as to what it is that the school is shoting so we provide provided that can afford to.
